Striper Tracker provides fishing conditions, migration estimates and related information. We respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Information you provide
If you buy premium access or restore a purchase, you may provide an email address, payment reference, or access/recovery code. If you contact us through the feedback form, you may provide your name, email address, town or beach, and message. Please do not submit sensitive personal information in feedback.
Payments and access
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy practices. Striper Tracker uses payment status, purchase identifiers, and access credentials as needed to provide and restore premium access. We do not need to collect full payment-card numbers in our app.
Technical and device information
Our hosting and delivery providers may process standard technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser or device information, and error or security logs in order to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. The app may store premium-access tokens and app preferences on your device so your purchase and settings can be recognized.
How information is used
We use information only to operate Striper Tracker, verify or restore premium access, process payments, respond to messages, prevent abuse, and maintain the security and performance of the service. We do not use personal information to sell advertising profiles.
Service providers
We use service providers to run the app, including Cloudflare for website hosting and infrastructure, Stripe for payments and payment verification, and an email delivery provider for messages and access-related email where applicable. They may process the information necessary to perform those services for us. This is different from selling personal data or providing it to advertisers.
Retention and deletion
Purchase and access records may be retained for as long as needed to maintain lifetime access, handle payment issues, comply with legal or accounting obligations, and protect the service. Feedback correspondence and technical records are retained only as reasonably needed for these purposes. To request access to or deletion of personal information associated with Striper Tracker, use the contact form described below. Some payment or transaction records may need to be retained when required by law.
Children's privacy
Striper Tracker is intended for a general fishing audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
Security
We use HTTPS and service-provider access controls to protect information in transit and limit unauthorized access. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
External websites
Striper Tracker may link to weather-data sources, fishing cameras, and other websites operated by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our features or data practices change. The current version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
